Anfang September besuchten ehemalige Leiter von Wetterämtern des Deutschen Wetterdienstes i.R. mit ihrem damaligen Präsidenten Dr. Tillmann Mohr das Museum. So konnten Frau Ingrid Kühnel, Herr Helmut Götschmann, Herr Lothar Griebel und Herr Ernst Ittner im Museum begrüßt werden.
Die umfangreiche Ausstellung fand sehr großen Anklang und regte zu mancher Fachdiskussion an.
In interessanten Gesprächen wurden Geschichten und Erlebnisse rund um das Wetter, Wetteraufzeichnung usw. ausgetauscht. Ein Thema war auch die Zusammenführung der Wetterdienste aus den alten und neuen Bundesländern in der Zeit nach der Wende.
Ein kleiner Vortrag, der alle Anwesenden zum Schmunzeln brachte, war das Gedicht von Christian Morgenstern aus seinen „Galgenliedern“:

und haß‘ euch wie die Schande!

Dieses Gedicht passt wunderbar zu unserer Ausstellung im Erdgeschoß!
Herr Zorn vom Förderverein des Deutschen Thermometermuseum begleitete den Museumsbesuch und steuerte bei Kaffee und Kuchen so manche Episode aus seiner Berufspraxis bei.
Voll des Lobes über diesen gelungenen Tag bedankten sich die Besucher ganz herzlich bei Herrn Zorn und Frau Rux.
Auch für das Museum sind solche Besuche von Fachpublikum immer wieder bereichernd und sehr interessant.
